To have and to hold - Heritage style

For someone like me who adores old houses, being in this place would make me feel like a child in Disneyland. :-)

The following photos were taken at Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar Heritage Resort in historic Bagac, Bataan.

Scroll down and take a peek at how one of today's youngest (and dare I say, also one of the cutest -- go ahead, ask the guests at the weddings he's shot) wedding photographer Benjie Tiongco marries the old and the new in this beautiful set.

These doors lead to the resort's hotel rooms, inspired by old buildings in one of Manila's oldest streets, Escolta.

The capiz windows provide the perfect backdrop for the men donning the traditional Barong Tagalog.

The proud Filipina in me is going gaga over these gowns.

The perfect practical accessory for the ladies? An abaniko (folded fan), of course!

More of this set and Benjie's modern yet timeless engagement and wedding photos are found here.
